I've actually got a magical time period for setting and reaching goals.
It is not a year, not a week and not a day (in most cases, that is, if you are going for a total transformation). Rather, it is another chunk-period of time. There's a reason why... check out my video below.
What matters is that you feel your goal is doable and that you own it. You set the goal, you want it, it fits right in your life, and it is your #1 desire at this time. Then you follow a path or a sequence of steps that is right for you.
What sequence of steps does it take to get what you want? Weight loss, productivity, moving forward from a stuck place, turning your health around, etc...Well, you've got to look at the period of time and the outcome you desire before you can say that. It's not worth blindly following someone or spreading yourself out too far and following everybody when you really want something. In fact, that will keep you stuck longer than you need to be. Of course, you can look at whose doing it best but ultimately you want to follow your unique way.
