Where You Don't Belong...

Have you ever done things you weren't completely 100% happy about, but you just kept doing them?

As you keep doing it, you keep being 55-70% in enjoyment of it? Or less.

That is... You aren't very satisfied with it.

Ugg, it doesn't improve does it?

In fact, this can last for years. I mean yeeeeaaars
This is what I call 'being drug around by life'. It's not awesome.

Being drug around is what fishing nets do. You know, the nets drug around in the ocean that can pick up the wrong stuff like junk and trash. Or for us, we can be drug around and pick up weight or personal baggage and grudges
How do I change my life
You may experience being drug around when it comes to your habits in health, family, friendships, spirituality, your boldness, holding boundaries or in your career.

I'll tell you what, the thing that never happens from the place of being drug around is this... SUCCESS.

You aren't motivated, you don't do a great job losing weight and you don't do great things when you are being drug around.

The position of a LESS-THAN-SATISFIED-YOU, while being drug around, never sets you up for success.

Worse yet, being drug around in one area of your life can be an anchor on your whole life experience right now.

When you feel drug around in your job, you are drug around in relationships. When you are drug around in relationships, you feel drug around in your health.
How do I change my life
You don't belong in this spot for long. Do you see why?

It's because in this spot you give up control of your destiny and personal health. Additionally, you aren't attractive to yourself or others, therefore you don't attract amazing opportunities that can bring you joy. The list of what goes wrong goes on and on.

You don't belong at a 55-70% enjoyment level (or less) because it doesn't light you up.

​Of course, compromise or new situations may take you to less-than-satisfied place for a little bit. That's ok.

It's also good to do what you commit to. However, if enjoyment or a good-fit (after evaluation) doesn't manifest from a situation or scenario you are in repeatedly, it's a good sign that you aren't where you belong.

Anywhere from small tweaks to big leaps away from what you are currently doing might be your best next strategy.

You don't have to be drug around. You can be where you belong.

Let's get into gear! Do the following action steps. This is a very awakening formula.

Action Steps:

1. Evaluate where you are consistently feeling less-than-satisfied in your life. Not where your spouse is or where your friend is or where your boss is expressing dissatisfaction, but you. What is the one overarching scenario?

2. Choose 2-3 different points of time or experiences when your enjoyment was at its highest for you within the one scenario .

3. Rate how high that enjoyment was in those experiences. That is, rate the experiences between 0%-100% enjoyment and in benefits you receive. Where does this scenario rank?

4. Answer this question, is this scenario something you or we could conclude is a good fit for you?

Ahhh, you did it. Well done. Now you know.
