Health Moment - Weight loss and your sugar habit:

Sugar is eaten in excess by so many people. It's easy to do!
It's in your refined wheat, rice, and other grain products: breads, crackers, noodles and sauces. It's in your sweet coffee drinks and of course in your sweets, chocolates, yogurts and alcohol. It's glucose, and it's especially problematic when it's no-longer paired together with fiber and nutrients. And it adds up for your weight gain in all these products, big or small!
Too much sugar is not what your body needs. You do need nutrition and you do need energy, but not foods that are devoid of nutrition and have lots of sugar and unhealthy fats. Sugar is what you may be giving your body in excess, though, and it has you addicted to it and regularly storing fat and not losing the weight you'd like.
